 My style is candid, documentary and real. It is a mirror to who you are.

You’re graduating! Time to celebrate your accomplishments and who you have become. Big portrait studios don’t reflect that-I know they didn’t when I got my senior photos done against a white backdrop like everyone else. It all felt contrived, fake, mass produced and rushed. There was no connection, time to get comfortable with my photographer, allowing myself to be comfortable being myself. From that point on, I wanted to give high school and college seniors the experience I didn’t get, and the photos that I didn’t get- ones that reflect their personality and uniqueness through interesting outdoor locations that speak to your personality. You aren’t limited to just beautiful outdoor locations in Arizona for senior photos though- let’s shoot at your favorite coffeeshop, underwater, your current, former or future college campus, or anywhere you love. Let’s explore!

“But I’m not photogenic!” That’s what every single person you see on this page and on my blog and on my Instagram said. I promise, I’ll be awkward, weird, clumsy and nerdy enough for both of us so you don’t have to be. And yes, that includes the guys too! I know you don’t want your photos taken and your parents are making you, but I promise to make it fun. Yes, I said fun!

Let’s craft an experience to foster connection to celebrate your personality because life is more than a photoshoot, and more than pretty photos. It’s about connection and experiences and being authentic.
I want to take the focus away from getting “a few great photos for social media” and turn it towards an experience. Let’s get to the core of who you are at this moment in your life and celebrate that and your achievements thusfar. Of course we will get some great photos for social media, graduation cards, but I want your session to showcase your crinkly grin when you are really laughing, the goofy smirk, and most of all, have FUN!
