What do I even say about these two? If their gorgeous, lucky Salt River engagement shoot with wild horses & a stunning sunset wasn’t any indication of how awesome these two are, their Phoenix Zoo wedding definitely showed that off. Sam’s uncle made the amazing hexagonal vases, and her classy gold & copper animal details came together SO well. I almost cried- somewhere between laughter & nostalgia- when they used some of the same lines in their own ceremony as I did in mine (that I shamelessly stole from the internet). I’m so lucky to have met these two through Jessica, and I’m so grateful to have gotten to know both Sam & Jessica by photographing both of their weddings & spending time getting to know both of them on their engagement sessions. The Phoenix Zoo was the perfect setting for Sam & Josh’s small wedding- lots of beautiful un-Arizona like greenery (like that PURPLE BLOOMING TREE!), lights all around at night and all outdoors with animals everywhere! My kind of wedding! They even brought some animals out for the kids which was a big hit! But rather than me doing a poor job of trying to explain how awesome these two are- with Sam’s infectious laugh and Josh’s gentle, strong but shy grins that light up his face whenever he is around Sam, I’m going to let the photos do the talking, because they do a much better job of that than I do, anyway.
BIG, BIG thanks to Sarah for second shooting with me!
