You might remember these two beautiful people from their Flagstaff engagement session, where Katryna flew us up in a private plane! Their Sedona elopement was just as fun. West Fork Trail is just a special, stunning place. Katryna wore a gorgeous all white suit, and Leonor wore a beautiful dress with crochet detailing. To protect her suit along the walk out to the ceremony site, Katryna wore an oh so fashionable trash bag- work it! It was clear that Katryna & Leonor has an awesome tribe. With their families there to support them and close friends from San Diego and Seattle, we found the most perfect spot along the creek with a natural altar to place Leonor’s parents’ wedding unity candle on. Katryna serenaded us with her ukelele she bought in Hawaii where she lived for a time and Shennandoah of Sterling Weddings led us through a wonderful ceremony. After the ceremony & some portraits of the newly Mrs. & Mrs. , we headed to Chocola Tree, a vegan resturant for a delicious lunch and a dairy free cake! It was actually the first wedding cake I’ve had except at my own wedding because of my own dairy & gluten intolerances. On my way out of Sedona, I was greeted with a beautiful summer monsoon which in my opinion, is the perfect way to end a beautiful wedding day. Thank you so much Leonor & Katryna for having me be a part of your beautiful day!
Elopements are a wonderful way to strip down the stress of a wedding, focusing it down to the essentials- you, your partner, and your love for each other, in the surrounding of your choosing. You can have friends and family surrounding you, or you can just have you & your love, your photographer and your officiant. The sky is the limit as to where you choose to have your elopement ceremony- it can be anywhere meaningful to you. Arizona has some stunning locations for elopements. Planning on eloping? I would be honored to be considered for documenting your day. Contact me!
