What can I even say about these two!! Katryna is a pilot and FLEW US UP TO FLAGSTAFF FOR THIS ENGAGEMENT SESSION. I don’t usually use all caps, but that deserves all caps. How awesome is that?? On our way up, we saw some smoke from a small fire near Mormon Lake obscuring some of the mountains which looked cool, almost like the very ground was so hot it was burning. After landing, they took me adventuring around Flagstaff. We stopped first at Mt. Humphrey’s and now I’m obsessed and want to summit Mt. Humphrey’s, even though I’m not exactly an experienced hiker. Then we visited their favorite little vegetarian cafe for lunch, explored downtown, then were off to Lockett Meadow, which had been on my bucket list of places to visit for quite some time. Leonor, Katyrna & I bonded over our love of the outdoors (though they are WAY more outdoorsy than I am, I need to up my game) and tendencies to pet any and every dog that crosses our paths. Both Leonor & Katryna volunteer for Pilots N Paws which helps transport dogs from shelters around the country to alleviate overcrowding. They have 5 dogs between the two of them, so they are definitely my type of people 🙂 We ran into a small problem with the plane coming back, so to play it safe, we drove back down. It was an all day adventure and I’m so glad that I got to know Katryna & Leonor so well and I am so grateful that they felt comfortable with me enough to be 100% themselves. Capturing my clients’ relationship in a real, meaningful and genuine way is what I strive for with each session I do. I can’t wait for the wedding in May!
