2016 has been a year of definite ups and great things and professionally, coupled with a few downs to make you appreciate the positives. Every year I say this, along with every other photographer out there, but I mean it every time- I am SO grateful for my wonderful clients, friends, family and supporters- including my cat who is currently making this blog post very difficult to type. I had the pleasure of photographing some amazing Arizona weddings at the Phoenix Zoo, Eagle Mountain golf course, Encanto Park, West Fork Trail Sedona, Phoenix Mountains Preserve, Las Sendas golf club and being witness to some amazing moments and documenting those important periods in my clients lives. I was flown up to Flagstaff by one of my clients in a small plane for their engagement photos! I collaborated with some amazing local wedding vendors on a stunning Salt River underwater elopement inspiration shoot. I’ve photographed clients’ maternity sessions and family sessions who got married in prior years. One of my best friends is soon going to be a mom! I explored underwater photography further, including traveling to Tampa for an underwater workshop with Jenn Bischof. I’ve connected to some wonderful wedding professionals. My husband and I purchased our first home! And I was finally able to quit my day job and take this crazy photography business full time, which means HELLO to way to much Instagram stories of my pets. I am so excited to see what 2017 brings- what new adventures and places I go, people I meet and new stories I document for people. As cheesy as it all sounds, really, I do this to serve my clients and somewhat selfishly to witness and share in their emotions and joy. Thank you so much for supporting me and letting me be a small part of your lives.
Also, a HUGE thank you and shout out to my amazing 2nd shooter Sarah who shot the majority of my weddings this year with me- a portion of these images are hers. I’m so grateful for you Sarah!
