As a budding photographer herself, Alyssa wanted a beautiful desert senior session showcasing Arizona’s natural beauty. We decided on Papago Park in Tempe, which offers amazing red rocks, views of Tempe & Phoenix and surprising vegetation. A lot of people dismiss the desert as just a bunch of cacti, but the desert is full of amazing textures and colors (not just brown!). I’m so glad that high school seniors are starting to look towards the desert for their high school senior portraits! Alyssa was a sweet girl (maybe it’s the name! 😉 ) and wonderful to work with! I loved her willingness to do my crazy ideas and her enthusiasm for my more “artsy” shots. I loved talking to her about some of the technical things I was doing. Her favorite type of photography is street photography which I love as well! I hope to see your photographs in an exhibition someday soon Alyssa!
Summer is here and underwater portrait season is upon us! I am so excited to escape the heat by spending my days underwater instead of in 110 degree weather. The monsoons always make things interesting as well once those start up. I’m booking up my calendar with underwater shoots, so if you’ve been thinking about an underwater engagement session, underwater maternity session, underwater fashion photos, etc, now’s the time to contact me before the monsoons start up and making scheduling a bit unpredictable! If you’re not already, you can follow me on Instagram as well to see newest sneak peeks from recent sessions before they hit the blog here: @alyssacampbellphotography.
