I’m a little bit biased because Alex & I have been friends since preschool, were in each other’s weddings etc BUT I think Alex is quite possibly the CUTEST and most gorgeous pregnant momma I have seen. Plus any time I get to hang out with her AND her dogs? Winning. We did some outdoor photos at South Mountain which is a gorgeous location I hope to shoot more at this year, then continued onto in home photos with Jack and the dogs. Alex & Jack are super into holidays and I know Christmas is Alex’s favorite holiday. I love how much personality & meaning in home sessions bring to sessions, especially maternity sessions. Years later, you can look back on how your home has changed or perhaps remember an old home you’ve since moved out of, and your kids can look back and mock your decor choices but secretly love it. It’s very much a visual representation of your life at that moment and I love documenting that. Here’s to doing more of these types of sessions in 2017!
Also, does anyone else feel weird/old when their best friends get married/have kids? I’m THRILLED beyond words for Alex but wow, adulthood check. I know Alex & Jack will be the BEST, most fun parents and Wyatt will be super spoiled because Jack is basically still about 5-7 years old at heart and really, he just wants an excuse to buy all the toys and play. Good luck with 2 boys in the house Alex! I know you got this because I know how crazy your brothers are 😉
